The Workplace (CDL) is an institution that seeks to contribute to ensuring respect for labor rights in the country. The instruments used for this are legal assistance and education.
The CDL performs all activities in order to increase the level of knowledge of different industrial sectors about their rights and frequent violations of these. This is to strengthen the labor justice system.
Works with support from the Department of Labor (USDOL), Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the Independent Monitoring Group of El Salvador (GMIES) and Human Rights Institute of the Universidad Centroamericana "Jose Simeon Cañas" (IDHUCA).
